MARCOM Officer
Job Description
Job purpose
To develop, implement, maintain and report on Ritaj’s branding, communications and social media efforts, as well as assume marketing/sales ownership of Ritaj’s community engagement platforms. We are seeking a strategic and creative leader who is grounded in the market to build and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that amplify our brand presence, drive customer acquisition, and fuel our growth in the competitive training, language services, event management, and business consulting landscapes.
Duties and responsibilities
Strategic Communications
- Develop, deliver, and implement comprehensive communications, marketing collateral and media strategies in collaboration with Ritaj staff
- Generate sales leads through targeted outreach to new and existing individual and institutional clients
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
- Enhance company online presence through strategic content marketing initiatives
- Gather customer insights and industry intelligence, particularly from HR professionals in the target market
Digital Platform Management
- Oversee all online platforms, including WordPress website(s) and social media channels
- Manage comprehensive digital presence across multiple touchpoints
Content Creation & Management
- Develop, curate, and schedule engaging multimedia content (posts, videos, stories, reels) across all digital platforms (Website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok)
- Support Ritaj’s business lines and services through integrated digital, visual, and text-based content strategies
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications
Community Engagement
- Drive audience engagement through high-quality social initiatives and community-building activities
- Collect, design, and disseminate client testimonials to build brand credibility
- Contribute to responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize monitoring tools to extract actionable insights from social media data
Event Management & Community Outreach
- Plan, market, and coordinate Ritaj’s community engagement platforms, including RITAJ Talks (RT) and RITAJ Roundtables (RR)
- Manage end-to-end event logistics and promotional activities
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience in content production, leveraging media, innovative technology and social marketing tools to deliver key messages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the West Bank media landscape.
- Proficiency with social media, mobile platforms and multimedia content required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills, and attention to detail required.
- Full fluency in English and Arabic required, including writing and speaking.
- High comfort and tolerance to manage stress and role demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to provide leadership to a team and to work in a team environment.
- Has interpersonal qualities necessary to generate enthusiasm, integrity and build consensus with staff members.
- A multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, confidentiality, and dedication to the mission of Ritaj.
Working conditions
This position may require occasional evening and weekend work, light travel, and working with challenging clients.
