Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and related filing
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish timely financial statements
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Maintain strict financial data confidentiality
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Must reside in Ramallah/Al-Bireh
- Degree in Accounting
- 1+ year of verifiable work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of Bisan ERP system
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills
- Additional certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written communication skills in English and Arabic
