Training Project Officer (TPO)

Job Description

Ritaj’s Training Project Officer (TPO) supports training services with planning, marketing, sales (phone and in-person), customer service, coordination, monitoring and evaluation. The TPO is expected to possess professional integrity, develop trust in Ritaj’s services and among participants and ensure world-class service to Ritaj’s community at large.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop a full implementation work plan for training courses/projects
  • Target new and existing individual and business clients
  • Prospect new clients via sales calls, direct mail, email and networking events
  • Follow up on leads generated through research and promotional events
  • Coordinate for training programs and training-related content
  • Analyze sales trends, track unit sales, and generate reports
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of each project
  • Collect customers’ needs, industry information and track offerings by competition
  • Prepare technical training offers
  • Supervise training delivery, quality assurance and evaluation
  • Direct follow-up with assigned trainers for each course to get:
    • Description of the course and selling points
    • Training outline and topics
    • Training session plan
    • Training material (prepared by trainer or provided by Ritaj)
    • Provide for trainer’s needs, including in the training room (training aids)
    • Book and confirm training room availability
    • Ensure copies of material or handouts are ready before the training
    • Get trainer’s final report
  • Proactively follow-up and take sound decisions during training delivery
  • Organize for a small gathering, distributing certificates and taking pictures
  • Where possible, prepare press release and/or social media posts of completed training for media
  • Submit documents to the finance department
  • Conduct any other relevant task assigned to him/her
  • Report to management as per Ritaj’s policy
  • Comply with Ritaj standard operating procedures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Qualifications and key competencies

  • BA degree in business administration or a relevant field
  • Computer proficient, especially online research, email (Outlook), Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Punctual, self-starter and energetic, along with being a team player
  • Ability to think creatively and lead
  • Problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
